Lhe weather will be contrasted on Sunday March 5 between the north and the south of the country, according to Météo-France. Over a good northern half of the country, the sky will be very cloudy to overcast until midday, then some fleeting clearings will manage to break through in the afternoon. Scattered rains will be expected in these regions, more frequent and in the form of showers from Normandy to Hauts-de-France and the Ardennes. Flakes will twirl on the relief from 300 to 400 meters.

The sun will still largely dominate from the Pyrenees chain in Languedoc-Roussillon to the Paca region. The mistral and the tramontane will blow without excess.

Between these two zones, the morning humidity of the low layers will slowly be absorbed, around the Garonne valley in particular, the clearings will be clearer in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, the maximum will be between 6 and 10 degrees in the northern half of the country, between 10 and 14 further south, up to 16 to 18 in Roussillon, in Provence.
