Just green jerseys in A league. The new regulation of the championship, in article 2, clearly explains that from the 2022-23 season, the use of green uniforms is prohibited for outfield players. The reason? Annoying contrast with the pitch and a distorting effect with graphic displays, ie virtual advertising spaces digitally added to the images broadcast by televisions during matches. In short, if one of the two teams wears green, it is hard to distinguish between players and the lawn.

A small revolution, which will only concern the second and third game jerseys. Those who have green as the color of their main uniform (for example Sassuolo, or Avellino) will be able to keep it. So goodbye to the fluo, used by Lazio in the last season or previously also by Inter (declined with the blue in 2016/17), or to the military chosen by Napoli in 2019/20, just to name the most recent examples.
