The person in charge of the Formula E Circuit Project, from PT Jaya Kontruksi, Ary Wibowo admitted that he had difficulty working on the Formula E track project in the area. Ancol. Ary said about 40 percent of the total length of the track is a difficult zone to work on.
Ary explained, in working on the circuit, his party divided it into five zones, namely zones 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Zone 5 has a soft soil structure.
“The most difficult and often disputed in the media is zone 5. Zone 5 is 1 kilo 40 meters long, so 40 percent of this work is in zone 5. That’s the most difficult,” said Ary in the Ancol area, North Jakarta, Wednesday ( 23/2).
“What I said in zone 5 which stands on soft ground, this is the most problematic. We are preparing a construction to seat this construction properly,” he added.
In addition to zone 5, he also said that when working in the field, there were difficulties in working in zone 4, but it was not as difficult as zone 5.
“It turns out that zone 4 is also experiencing problems such as zone 5. Zone 4 is approximately 250 meters, but a little easier, so the relatively good ones are zones 1, 2, 3,” he said.
On the same occasion, the Chief Executive of Formula E, Ahmad Sahroni said that the circuit construction process was carried out with a seven-day scheme and was carried out for 24 hours a day.
He is also optimistic that the circuit work will be completed within the specified time.
“Don’t equate the Formula E circuit with Formula 1, it’s definitely different,” said Sahroni.
It is known that Jakarta will host the 2022 Formula E season. The plan is for Formula E to be held in the Ancol area, North Jakarta on June 4, 2022.
The construction time for the circuit project is set for 54 days, starting from February 3, 2022 to March 28, 2022. The circuit will be built with a length of 2,400 meters with 18 bends and a straight track length of about 527 meters.
The project work uses funds from PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) in the range of Rp. 50 billion.
