The sound of something falling to the ground is loud.
A man walking down the street screams as if he was hit by something.
“Aaaahhh!”
On the afternoon of the 13th, cement powder and gravel poured down from an apartment construction site in Dong-gu, Daejeon.
A resident who was hit by a fallen gravel suffered a head injury and was treated at a hospital.

It wasn’t just the surrounding roads.
Gravel and cement also poured into residential areas adjacent to the construction site.
Parked cars were covered in cement, and some had broken windows after being hit by gravel.
The rear windshield of the car, which had been hit several times by the spilled gravel, had holes in various places and was completely cracked.
Residents complain that more than one vehicle has been damaged by falling objects and how the protection measures of large construction companies can be so lax.

Some residents said that they felt fear for their lives beyond anxiety at the thought that a rock might fall on their heads.
A construction company official apologized, saying that the incident occurred when dust and gravel were blown away by the wind during the pouring of concrete in the high-rise section.
He emphasized that he would provide sufficient compensation for the damage suffered by nearby residents and that he would thoroughly prevent recurrence during future construction to prevent similar incidents from happening.
Daejeon Dong-gu Office announced that it plans to conduct an additional on-site investigation and take necessary administrative action against the construction company that laxly managed falling objects.
