Last burst before the slowdown? Professional real estate maintained its growth in 2022 in Maine-et-Loire, as revealed by the 2023 edition of the corporate real estate observatory, established by the CCI of Maine-et-Loire and the Real Estate Club Anjou. Thus, a total of 187,872 square meters were placed in the department in 2022, against 174,505 square meters a year earlier, through 313 transactions. Over this period, the tertiary market posted a slight increase with 157 operations for 46,071 square meters marketed. In 2021, 44,440 square meters of offices were then placed on the territory. In terms of business premises and warehouses, transactions rebounded from 130,125 square meters to 141,801 square meters of take-up over the same period.
“The threat of soaring prices and the trade situation, an immediate reflection of a less flourishing economic situation, are all weak signals to take into account. The future promises to be more about capitalizing on quality than on the large volumes to be developed, ”says the CCI of Maine-et-Loire. The department thus has 68,592 square meters of office space available at the end of 2022 and 127,414 square meters of business premises in stock.
