“Continued Court Operations During COVID-19 with New Safety Measures”

Court operations will continue during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are not notified by the competent court that negotiations or other summons appointments will be postponed to a later date or cancelled, summonses must be complied with.

LATEST NEWS!

The requirement to wear a face shield in the courthouse will be beginning June 1, 2022 until further notice.

RESTRICTION ON PARTY TRAFFIC DUE TO THE CURRENT CORONA SITUATION

Information on court operations, in particular on the corona measures applicable in court, can be found below and in the navigation bar above in the “COVID-19” area.

To avoid waiting times and crowds, party traffic is closed until further notice only after prior telephone notification and appointments possible (Tel. 057601 21 12300). Immediate appointments can only be given in urgent cases.

Persons entering or staying in the courthouse must strictly keep a minimum distance; this is 2 meters if the Austria-wide Corona traffic light ROT lights up, otherwise (with colors ORANGE, YELLOW or GREEN) 1 meter (ideally 1.5 to 2 meters).

In all party-public areas, i.e. especially in the corridors and waiting areas, the obligation to wear a face mask applies to traffic lights ORANGE, YELLOW or GREEN according to the regulations applicable to public transport (= GSÖ). When the traffic light is RED, it is mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask.

In negotiations, there is a general obligation to wear a GSÖ. The decision-making body decides on any simplifications in connection with the obligation to wear a mask in the courtroom when complying with the 2G rule (for traffic light color RED) or 3G rule (other traffic light colours).

Important further information can be found in the House rule.
