4 years without Ivan Laskin

And it’s still freaking quiet!!! I miss you so much my sweet boy.” This is what actress Alexandra Sarchadzhieva wrote about her husband, the great actor Ivan Laskin, who died today 4 years ago.

On December 28, 2018, he was admitted to the Military Medical Academy, kept in an artificial coma due to liver failure. He died in hospital on January 6, 2019, aged 48.

He starred in dozens of Bulgarian feature films, including ‘Vasco da Gama from the village of Rupcha’, ‘The Honest Musketeer’, ‘Wagner’, ‘Howl for Wolves’, ‘Danube Bridge’ and ‘Magicians’, ‘Kolobar’, ‘ My Friends Named Uncle”, “Ruth”, “Church of Wolves”, “The Most Important Things”, “Sin”, “The Glass River” and in over twenty European and American productions from 1989 to 2007.
