Darmawan Prasodjo officially replaced Zulkifli Zaini as President Director of PT PLN (Persero). Looking at the other side, what’s in the garage?
Darmawan is not a new person at PLN, previously he served as Deputy President Director of PLN since 2019. In the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN), quoted Monday (6/12/2021), Darmawan has a total wealth of Rp. 14,169,174,811.
Of the total wealth of Rp. 1,590,000,000 is transportation and machinery. Darmawan’s garage only consists of three cars.
The first car owned by Darmawan was the Mitsubishi Xpander. The car that fills the 2019 7-seater Low MPV segment has a value of IDR 215 million.
Second, is the Toyota Alphard premium MPV. A car that is known to be close to the upper middle class. Darmawan’s Toyota Alphard 2019 is estimated at Rp 925 million.
The last car owned by Darmawan is a vehicle with the type of SUV (Sport Utility Vehicles). This Energy economist who spent more than 15 years in the United States (US) owns a 2019 Toyota Fortuner worth Rp 450 million.
There are no other cars registered as belonging to Darmawan, all of them are owned by himself. The property was reported on March 26, 2021.
Today the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir appointed Darmawan Prasodjo as President Director of PT PLN (Persero). In his speech, Erick asked the President Director of PLN to lead and make improvements.
“My directive is that the President Director can lead PLN to start making improvements to the business model and also to prepare a more lean and effective PLN organization,” he said in his remarks, Monday (6/12/2021).
