In November of this year, the press was abuzz that one of its core members, Bounty, was leaving the Celebrations. In programs with millions of views, the presenters were outraged by the announcement, for example, the famous TV personality Piers Morgan, who called the producer’s decision “evil” – shine on it a The Guardian.

Why Bounty?
According to the official explanation, the company conducted a survey among British people, which revealed that 39% of them would not like to see coconut chocolate in the box. For Bounty lovers, this was both surprising and shocking.
We decided to give not only Bounty, but also its rivals, a chance to compete in an all-deciding battle for Index’s readers’ favorite Celebrations chocolate stock. Even personally we tasted it chocolates, and please share with us your favorite candy from the box on the ballot at the bottom of the article.
Only one can stay
Malteser Teasers: While this brand is perhaps less well known at home than its competitors, we weren’t disappointed. Creamy inside with small pieces of crunchy biscuits.
Galaxy: It is filled with milk and has a unique, rich, sweet taste. It is loved by many people around the world. Galaxy strictly guards the exact recipe, but he cheated on himthat the traditional method of cooking chocolate, grinding it finely and adding a hint of natural vanilla is the secret to the taste of the candy.
Caramel Galaxy: Looks can be said to be a bit deceiving, as it differs from plain Galaxy only in that the Caramel packaging has a yellow colour. The box can be an ideal choice for caramel lovers.
Twix: Twix is well known for having two thin chocolate bars in the box. There is currently a debate as to whether there is a difference between the left and right bars, but we won’t know from the mini version – as there is only one in it.
Milky Way: The Milky Way, translated into Hungarian as “Milk Way,” is a really fitting name, as it has a white, frothy filling inside. The full-sized chocolate bar’s little brother is perhaps even tastier than the original, as the chocolate is more prominent with less filling.
Giggles: Right out of the box you can feel the typical nutty aroma of Snickers chocolate. But when we bite into it, we have to be disappointed: the makers wanted to cram so much into one cube that you can hardly taste anything but the sweet caramel.
Mars: Although the Mars chocolate is the favorite of many, perhaps this is why the small version can disappoint compared to the large one: while the harmony of the sweet caramel and the foamy part is perfect in the original, unfortunately in the small one, the hand manager of the caramel “ran”. It’s a pity, but of course there are always cuckoo eggs in mixed boxes.
Cut: Bounty’s little brother actually really looks like the shrunken original – therefore, even without packaging, it cannot be confused with the others. Chocolate lovers can rejoice, because in this case, like Milky Way, the cocoa flavor is more dominant, but it doesn’t make us forget the coconut either: one could say that it is a perfect synergy. We haven’t found a reason why it should be removed from the Celebrations box, of course it could be our taste that is at fault and the votes will show a different picture.
