As for BYD’s capacity, it is equal to that of Audi and Mercedes combined. Regarding the number of jobs, 3-4 thousand people work in the factory at first, and then 10 thousand. From the point of view of environmental protection, the rules of the European Union and Hungary are observed. They want to cooperate with the University of Szeged, but they also depend on the cooperation of civilians.

A protective forest will be installed around the factory, which will act as a buffer zone between the factory and the residential areas. However, the batteries are still made in China, they will only be installed in electric cars in Szeged.

They want to be an integral part of the Szeged community, a player who will play an important role in the life of the town. In the autumn, they plan to participate in local events, where the community will get to know the company, its image and environmental awareness.
