Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur coach, could make a sensational return to Juventus to replace Max Allegri.
Allegri is under pressure in Turin following the surprising 1-0 defeat against Monza last weekend.
Juve also lost the first two games of the Champions League group.
They are currently eighth in Serie A after two wins in the first seven games.
This poor campaign start has led to speculation that the club might try to replace Allegri, who has come under criticism from fans.
If Allegri lost his job, Conte would be “open” to returning to Juventus, as reported in Italy.
Conte has yet to extend his contract with the Premier League club beyond next summer.
Things are looking good for Spurs this season, with the club unbeaten in the Premier League so far and only a point behind leaders Arsenal.
However, the 53-year-old has already said he hasn’t finished his job in Turin, and is seen as Juventus manager Pavel Nedved’s first choice to replace Allegri.
Conte led Juventus between 2011 and 2014 and won three Serie A titles before arguing dramatically with club manager Andrea Agnelli after hearing he wasn’t supported in the transfer market.
