Nearly 47,800 tests on average were also performed daily, for a positivity rate of 4.8%.
Between September 17 and 23, there were an average of 55.3 hospital admissions per day due to coronavirus, a decrease of 9% from the previous reporting period. A total of 692 people are still hospitalized due to Covid-19, including 216 patients treated in intensive care.
The virus’s reproduction rate is 0.93. When it is less than 1, this indicator means that the epidemic tends to slow down. The incidence, which indicates the number of new cases per 100,000 inhabitants, reached 245.7 over 14 days.
