The ship will remain in Europe’s largest port until early August. That’s how long it takes to unload the cargo. Then it goes back to Felixstowe in England.
The giant 200,000-ton vessel became stranded on the critical waterway on March 23, causing major disruption to global shipping and loss of revenue for Egypt.
A total of 422 ships with a cargo of 26 million tons were blocked.
