The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, justified the above by saying that it is because the number of tests, but under the positivity.
According to government data, on November 29, 2,719 active cases were registered, with the implementation of 200 high contagion areas, which represented 40.3% of the total positive cases in the capital.
By December 6, 5,829 active cases were recorded in the colonies, representing 38% of the total.

Positive cases also increased throughout the capital, including those in the aforementioned neighborhoods, since, from November 30 to December 6, 24,310 people confirmed with Covid-19Therefore, an accumulated 232 thousand 009 cases are registered.
Mayors with more positives
The mayoralties that concentrate the most confirmed cases are Iztapalapa, with 33,142; Gustavo A. Madero, 27,658; Álvaro Obregón, 23 thousand; Tlalpan, 21 thousand 168; Coyoacán, 15,203, and Cuauhtémoc, with 13,591.
Xochimilco registers 12,992; Azcapotzalco, 12 thousand 651; Venustiano Carranza, 12,523; Tláhuac, 11 thousand 849, and Iztacalco, 10 thousand 182. The rest are below 8 thousand cases; the one with the least is Milpa Alta.
Meanwhile, the colonies with the most active cases are San Antonio Tecómitl, with 123 and San Pablo Oztotepec, with 118, which belong to Milpa Alta.

San Bartolo Ameyalco, 74; Pilot, 53; Torres de Potrero, 46; Barrio Norte, 37, all are from Álvaro Obregón.
Los Reyes, 37; Pedregal de Santa Úrsula, 34, and Ajusco III, 30, all from Coyoacán.
In videoconference, Sheinbaum He explained that the growth in active cases in these colonies is due to the number of tests that are being carried out, since there are almost 20 thousand daily. He assured that the positivity has been reduced and that it is lower than what was had 15 days ago.
“The percentage of people who test positive has decreased (…) We were over 32%, today it is 22%. There will be more people who test positive for Covid, if more tests are carried out, ”the president explained.

Contrary to what Sheinbaum said, the report Covid-19 indicates that as of Sunday there was a positivity of 28%.
Regarding the fact that active or suspicious cases are no longer reported every day, the president commented that it is because the Federal Health Secretariat (Ssa) has not reported it.
He said that the change of the epidemiological traffic light to red will depend on the Ssa, but that actions are being taken to reduce infections.
“We established the issue of hospitalizations as central, but the federal government has 10 indicators that establish the color of the traffic light and with that we are guiding ourselves.”
On the other hand, as of today they open two Voluntary Isolation Centers (CAV) of the Navy for patients. They have the capacity to accommodate 744 people and are located in the Exejido neighborhood of San Pablo Tepetlapa, Coyoacán mayor’s office.
Donate supplies
The Government received a donation from the Republic of Korea on Monday of 50,000 PCR reagents, 10,000 three-filter surgical masks and 50 freezers that operate at 25 degrees below zero to store the vaccine against the disease.
