The Community of Madrid has registered a decrease in new coronavirus infections with 29 infections per day, which is 54 less than yesterday’s figure, and the daily deceased remain stable with seven deaths, that is, one less in relation to the last 24 hours.
With these data, Madrid accumulates a total of 9,064 deaths in hospitals since the start of the pandemic, to which 5,987 are added in social health centers (such as residences), 878 in homes and 27 in other places, such as public roads.
The number of infections in the autonomy gives a cumulative total of 69,275 positives confirmed with PCR tests since the beginning of the health crisis and records a decrease in new infections after yesterday’s rebound.
In this regard, the Community of Madrid in its epidemiological report details that 94 new positives incorporated with PCR tests have been reported (103 less than yesterday’s figure), although it specifies that, of them, 29 correspond to the last 24 hours.
Currently, according to the data of the regional Executive, hospitalized people drop to 841, which is 16 less than the statistic of yesterday and confirms the downward trend of recent dates.
At the same time, the region has 46 new cases of people hospitalized for coronavirus, seven fewer than yesterday which leaves the number of people admitted since the start of the pandemic at 44,076.
Meanwhile, a total of 174 patients are admitted to Community centers with severe symptoms of Covid-19, two less in relation to the last 24 hours and in the regular fall line detected in this healthcare field.
On the other hand, Madrid registers only two new patients with acute symptoms of the disease compared to yesterday and the number of people with coronavirus in the ICU stands at 3,659 since the start of the crisis.
In addition, a total of 79 Madrid residents have been discharged in the last 24 hours, for a total of 42,086 patients who have overcome the disease since the start of the pandemic.
On the other hand, Madrid provides home care to 4,173 people for coronavirus or suspected of having the disease, a performance that has reached 308,110 residents in the region since the health crisis began.
