Nine positives in the last 4 days were found among patients and healthcare professionals of the Internal Medicine department of the Papardo hospital which has been closed as a precaution to external admissions to sanitize and isolate infected patients.
Of the three health professionals who tested positive, two have already been negativized and another is in fiduciary isolation. Of the patients, six in all, three were transferred to the Covid area, two, asymptomatic, to Opus in via Palermo and one is still isolated in the ward but will be transferred in the next few hours to infectious diseases. The situation ensures the medical director Trimarchi is under control. In Messina the new positives recorded yesterday are 71.
