jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Ustaz Derry Sulaiman said he had been contacted by owner Holywings, regarding the promotion of alcoholic beverages under the names Muhammad and Maria.
As is well known, Ustaz Derry was one of the people who highlighted this case from the start, so it became viral.
“After their advertisement went viral, the owner and management apologized and blamed the promotion team. Last night the owner and the Holywings Indonesia team contacted me, explaining that they really didn’t know about this viral post,” said Ustaz Derry, Friday (24/6).
He said whatever the Holywings team explained, as a Muslim, Ustaz Derry forgave him. Even so, he made sure the law would continue to run.
This firm attitude should serve as a lesson to anyone who commits blasphemy.
“Even though they are angry, everyone knows that Muslims love peace and are easy to forgive, but the legal process continues, so that blasphemy will not be repeated in the future,” he said.
He hopes this case can be investigated thoroughly.
“Alhamdulillah, last night Bang Sunan Kalijaga made a report at the Polda Metro Jaya, that this blasphemy case needs to be investigated immediately,” he said.
