Dubai: Emirates Society for Consumer Protection has launched a new campaign titled “Your Protection is Our Responsibility” with the support of Emirates Draw. The campaign aims to raise awareness about consumer rights in the UAE, manage relationships with merchants and fight against various forms of commercial fraud. As part of this, a 100 meter long and 10 meter high mural will be unveiled on May 1 at Al Ittihad Street.
Mohammed Khalifa Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Society for Consumer Protection, explained the aim of reaching out to all sections of society. He said the UAE has created a safe environment for consumers, ensuring their rights and acknowledging their obligations by providing them with accurate information about the goods and services they use. The awareness mural supports the Society’s objectives in conveying messages to all sections of society and encouraging companies to contribute to promoting and deepening social awareness of consumer rights. Emirates Draw’s Head of Marketing, Paul Chader, expressed the organisation’s commitment to supporting initiatives that have an impact on individuals and society.
