Consumer prices have peaked since 2020

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (SNB) released on Friday, the consumer price index (CPI) increased last month by 2.8% in a year, after + 2.5% in August.

This is growth in line with the expectations of analysts interviewed by Reuters.

The Producer Price Index (PPI) increased 0.9% yoy in September, up from 2.3% the previous month. The consensus was + 1.0%.
