Among more than 80% of the samples, cadmium was detected in 24 models, chromium was detected in 14 models, and inorganic arsenic, a carcinogen commonly known as “arsenic”, was detected in 9 models, containing 0.04 to 0.16 mg per kilogram. The 9 samples of inorganic arsenic detected did not exceed the upper limit of 0.2 mg/kg for polished rice set by the Metal Regulations. ) of inorganic arsenic, a conservative estimate may increase the probability of lung cancer in the population by 0.5%. However, due to the low levels of metal pollutants detected in the samples, the Consumer Council emphasized that under normal consumption, it will not pose too much risk to health.

70% of the samples did not match the nutrition labels
