Consumer center Baden-Württemberg warns of dubious care advice from “Care Service Smart”

The Baden-Württemberg consumer center informs that older people are involved in discussions about care levels, care services and home care. The alleged nursing service then offers counseling services and pretends to assist in applying for benefits.

Some of those in need of care that we care for have also received such calls.
After the phone call, they were sent information on entitlements such as home emergency calls, respite care, short-term care and relief services, including the amount of benefits, as well as an invoice for EUR 129. The letter suggests that amounts of more than 6000 euros could be claimed from the cash register. However, the services listed are exclusively non-cash or reimbursement services (these services must be claimed from approved providers and will then be reimbursed by the health insurer).

Those affected should immediately contradict the alleged contract and the invoice in writing!
