Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Rail Development Corporation has been appointed as a consultant for KSRTC. The KSRTC board meeting decided to hand over the construction issues of the newly built bus terminal and commercial complexes to K Rail Corporation.
Currently, HLL is responsible for the shopping complexes at the bus stops. KSRTC officials clarified that K Rail Corporation was named to create more competition.

In the event that construction of Silverline cannot begin, the Corporation is undertaking other work. Work on the Silver Line was halted due to failure to receive central approval. The revenue officials assigned to the investigation have been transferred to other projects.
New shopping complexes and terminals are being planned in various locations. KSRTC officials have advised that information on this will be handed over to K Rail Corporation while some are under construction. K Rail officials said the deal will be signed soon.
