A 49-year-old construction worker died Thursday after falling from a building in Brooklyn, according to police reports.
The incident happened around 9 am in a building apparently under demolition that was previously occupied by a bank.
The city’s Department of Buildings said it was investigating what happened at 1045 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn.
The worker fell from the roof of the building, sustaining head and body injuries.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where his death was certified.
The identity of the deceased is not known so far.
