A man was hit by a truck while working on a construction site at Landesstraße 134. The 43-year-old was so badly injured that he died at the scene of the accident.
According to police, the fatal work accident occurred on Tuesday at the construction site on L 134 and county road 4941 between Grieheim and Hartheim, south of the business park. According to officials, a truck returned to the construction site at around 3.50pm to deliver the material. The driver apparently overlooked the 43-year-old man who was working behind him. The truck hit the man, police said.
The Freiburg traffic police recorded the accident and took over the investigation.
