Düsseldorf. Due to construction work between Düsseldorf and Langenfeld, there will be no stops on two S-Bahn lines from Friday. What commuters need to know.
Due to construction work on the railway line between Düsseldorf and Langenfeld, commuters must prepare for restrictions in S-Bahn traffic from Friday (August 9). As Deutsche Bahn announced, the tracks on this section will be renewed until Monday (August 12), 5 a.m. Due to the work, stops on S-Bahn lines S6 and S1 will be cancelled during the construction period.
Track construction work will also take place on this section on the night of Thursday, August 15th, to Friday, August 16th, from midnight to 5 a.m., and on the night of Saturday, August 17th, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. There will also be stop closures on lines S6 and S1.

During the track renewals, the following stops on the S6 S-Bahn line will be closed:
- Düsseldorf-Volksgarten
- Düsseldorf-Oberbilk
- Düsseldorf-Eller Süd
- Düsseldorf-Reisholz
- Düsseldorf-Benrath
- Düsseldorf-Garath
- Düsseldorf-Hellerhof
- Langenfeld-Berghausen

Line S1 is also affected by the track construction work. The following stops will be cancelled in the direction of Dortmund:

Rail replacement services will be set up
