Construction work affects rail traffic in Ulm main station: from 3.9. from 11 p.m. until the end of operations on 30.9. travelers from Ulm in the direction of Ingolstadt have to put up with longer travel times. Because during this period, the usual through trains (RB 15) between Ulm and Neu-Ulm are canceled. This was announced by the responsible railway company Agilis on Friday (September 1).
Construction work from Ulm: Passengers should use other trains or buses
Agilis asks travelers between Ulm and Neu-Ulm to switch to trains on lines RS7/71 of Deutsche Bahn (direction Sending/Weißenhorn) and RE9 from Go-Ahead (direction Augsburg/Munich) or city buses. Bus line 5 runs between the two stations every 10 minutes during the day.
During the construction work, the Ulm City Transport buses are open to passengers with local transport tickets. Replacement buses are occasionally deployed early in the morning and late in the evening. The detailed alternative timetable can be found online.
