On Monday, the construction of two new bridges and a bridge repair between the Gollhofen and Uffenheim-Langensteinach junctions began on the A7. For this purpose, a construction site traffic management system was set up, which will probably remain in place until mid-November.
In a first construction phase (preliminary phase), work on the construction site traffic management between the Gollhofen and Uffenheim-Langensteinach junctions began with the repair of the central reservation crossings, according to a press letter from the Autobahn GmbH. In this phase, the left lane of the Ulm lane will be transferred to the oncoming lane from Saturday, March 6, 6 a.m. to Tuesday, March 23.
In the subsequent second construction phase, from March 23 to probably mid-November 2021, traffic will be routed in both directions on the Ulm carriageway and the new construction and repair of the partial structures for the Würzburg carriageway will begin.
Basically two lanes in both directions
During the entire construction period, road users have two lanes in both directions. The new construction and repair of the sub-structures for the Ulm carriageway will take place in 2022.
