Project financing: a loan ‌from the ​BERD The financing of this project ‍of third ⁤access to the port of Agadir is provided‍ by a loan of 40 million euros granted by ‍the European Bank for reconstruction and‌ advancement (BERD) as part⁤ of the “resilience to climate change” program. This ⁣loan, the first proposed to a​ Moroccan public entity without guarantee of the State, consists of two sections: a credit of 15 million euros engaged and a capital of 25 million euros to be engaged. ⁤It‌ is indeed supplemented by a subsidy of ⁣$ 5.7 million for investment ‌purposes from the Global Environment Fund⁣ (GEF).
