Construction Begins in the Zeißholz Village Museum: Renovation Fund of 400,000 Euros Available

Zeißholz. Structural change funds enable the city of Bernsdorf to renovate three buildings on the site of the Zeißholz Village and Mining Museum and transform them into a “tourist, museum and socio-cultural meeting place”. The work started on Monday. By lunchtime, the craftsmen from the Wittichenau roofing company Schlegel & Koplanski had long since covered the roof of the museum building (pictured), which was previously used as a residential building. This is just the beginning of the work to be done in several trades. A total of more than 400,000 euros is available.
