Constitutional Court Holds Trial on Lawsuit for Presidential and Vice Presidential Age Limit

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Constitutional Court (MK) has again held a trial regarding the lawsuit for judicial review of Article 169 letter q of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections, regarding the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates.

The hearing regarding the age requirement for presidential and vice presidential candidates under 40 years was proposed by a student at the Faculty of Law, Indonesian Nahdlatul Ulama University (Unusia), Brahma Aryana.

“Wednesday, November 8 2023 at 13:30 WIB. Case Number 141/PUU-XXI/2023, material review of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections,” wrote the trial schedule on the MK website quoted by Liputan6.com, Tuesday ( 11/7/2023).
