Conspiracy channel removed after broadcast ‘Zondag met Lubach’

Youtube has removed the channel of the Dutch rapper and conspiracy thinker Lange Frans. He is alleged to have repeatedly violated the guidelines of the video service.

Perhaps the account came into view after the most recent broadcast of Sunday with Lubach, in which humorist Arjen Lubach on the VPRO de ‘myth trap(DS 20/10) of social media. Lange Frans’ channel came up as a place where people are interviewed who say, among other things, that political leaders are members of a satanic pedophile network.

Youtube recently began to crack down on conspiracy theorists. With Lange Frans, not only the conspiracy videos, but also his video clips were removed. “Hey Youtube, put that music back”, Lubach responded on Twitter. “Another proof that censorship is not the solution and immediately goes wrong.”

Lange Frans said in a response to the NOS that he finds the use of the word ‘conspiracy thinker’ incorrect. “If you say anything that is different, you will apparently be removed.” He reports that his new podcast can be seen via ‘all kinds of other platforms’.
