In addition to stealing food, being on duty at cafes and inspecting garbage cans, seagulls have turned to meals, which include local turtles and other small animals in abundance.
In an effort to protect the toads and give them the opportunity to produce offspring, during the landing of seagulls, experts have begun to strategically place pandan fruit seeds on the coast – in seagull nests, while taking seagull eggs away from them. Tourists also know about a rather unofficial, but nevertheless invitation – seagulls can be scared away if they attack turtles.
