Russian forces used a thermobaric projectile against Ukrainian fighters in the “special operation” zone. A video of the consequences of the strike on a fortification of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was published on his Telegram channel by military expert Boris Rozhin, known under the pseudonym Colonelcassad.
“After the battle, the fortification of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was captured by our troops. Consequences of using a thermobaric projectile,” Rozhin captioned the video, quoted by foreign publications.
The footage shows the destruction of buildings and the bodies of the dead. After being hit by a thermobaric projectile, only charred remains of them remain, some literally turned to ash, which is why the video is literally unwatchable.
Most likely, the projectile was fired from the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system.
Thermobaric projectiles are munitions that use the dispersion of a flammable substance in the form of an aerosol and undermine the resulting gas cloud.
Earlier it became known that an armored car was destroyed near Bakhmut yesterday, in which, according to preliminary data, was the commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Tansyura. The representative of the Ukrainian army denied this information.
