The civil association Conquering Smiles will carry out a campaign blood donation “Donate for a Smile”during this weekend, where he invites citizens to become the heroes of someone who needs it.
The campaign will be carried out this Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26 in the Mobile Unit of El Rejón Parkwhere there will be different schedules for all those interested in this altruistic event, have time to go to donate blood or platelets.
The first sampling time will begin at 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday; resumed at 5:00 in the afternoon to end until 7:00 at night.

On the other hand, Sunday, November 26volunteers will be received for donation in a hours from 7:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoonthis being the last day to be part of the donation campaign.
This altruistic campaign is carried out in conjunction with the State Blood Transfusion Center (CETS)under the motto of ‘Being a hero is in your blood’; This event has the objective of obtain donations for girls, boys and adolescents with cancer in the state of Chihuahua.
However, the association pointed out that to donate you must meet high important requirements, such as weighing more than 50 kilos, being between 18 and 65 years of age, and presenting your official identification with a photo.
Likewise, it is requested not to have eaten foods rich in fat four hours before donating; nor present after having consumed alcohol or medications in the last 48 hours before making the donation.
In addition, they are also asked not to donate if they are sick with diarrhea, have a cold sore, or an active allergy, and in the case of people with tattoos or piercings, wait at least 12 months to donate.
The same for those people who recently had an acupuncture or piloelectrolysis hair removal session.
It was also highlighted that for pregnant people, at least six months must have passed since they were breastfeeding, pregnant or having undergone surgery.
Likewise, it is important that those who wish to be donors have not suffered from hepatitis after 10 years of age; while people who have been vaccinated against Covid or were in contact with someone who carried the virus, already have more than 14 days of said events.
Conquistando Sonrisas is an organization dedicated to supporting children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer. with different activities, such as providing groceries for them and their families, support with medications, transfers to receive treatments and even in special cases, the transfer has been paid.
This, through integration campaigns for children, such as the Summer Camp, Christmas posadas and Children’s Day Celebrations for minors.
