Conor McGregor has a new place to recover from the recent defeat of his career.
It’s been over a week since the Irish UFC star lost to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. What would become McGregor’s grandiose comeback ended instead with a nasty broken leg that questions his continued career.
“The Notorious” McGregor has now lost three of his last four MMA fights. Not only that, the UFC boss Dana White says that suffers from chronic ailments and is expected to be gone for at least a year. Although MMA fans are now speculating whether his best time is over, McGregor himself chooses to live life as a wealthy superstar.
On Instagram, “The Notorious” McGregor shows off his new toy, a unique Lamborghini yacht called the “Super Car of the Sea”. He bought the boat last year but got it delivered yesterday. The price tag? Over SEK 30 million!
– My Lamborghini yacht is ready, McGregor wrote and shared a picture of the treasure.
The boat is 19.2 meters long, has two bedrooms, 4000 horsepower and a maximum speed of just over 112 kilometers per hour. There are only 63 copies in the world and McGregor owns the twelfth, a nod to the whiskey brand Proper No.12 which he launched in September 2018.
Proper No.12 and his other business ventures have accounted for most of his revenue recently. Earlier this year, he sold the majority stake in the whiskey brand and became named the richest athlete—All categories — with a total income of more than SEK 1.5 billion between May 2020-May 2021.
