The party chairman himself only said on the social network Facebook that he was urgently admitted on Saturday and that he will have to undergo surgery in December. Party spokesman Niels Pattyn confirms the emergency admission and explains that Rousseau has problems with a cyst on the kidneys. ‘Occasionally the chairman has acute pain. Due to too much work, little sleep and stress, this regularly crops up’, says Pattyn. “Then he has to be on the baxter to get the pain under control.”
Two weeks ago, Rousseau was hospitalized for the same problem.
