This year, the Connect trade fair, organized by Alltron and Brack.ch Business, will take place in Zurich-Oerlikon for the first time. Due to the increasing number of participants and the construction work at the previous venue in Willisau, a new location had to be found.
The specialist trade fair Connect, organized by Alltron and Brack.ch Business, will take place in Hall 550 in Zurich-Oerlikon. The Connect emerged from the Competec in-house exhibition, which has taken place in the logistics center in Willisau, Lucerne, in recent years. However, it got too cramped there. As Competec reports, the trade fair can no longer be held in the logistics center of the trading group this year – and also in the coming years – due to the space requirements, the trading volumes handled in Willisau and the extension currently under construction.
Hall 550 is an attractive alternative to the logistics center and is optimally equipped for Connect purposes. In addition, the new location is well developed in terms of transport. “We hope that we will be able to welcome even more trade visitors than last year,” says Simon Thoma, Head of Marketing at Competec.
Modern Work, Cloud Solutions, Pro AV, Security and more
In 2022 around 1800 visitors came to Connect. The event report for the fair You will find here. This year the Connect will take place on September 22nd. The exhibition area at the new venue should be similar in size to last year in Willisau. According to Competec, participants can expect an extensive supporting program with specialist lectures, a keynote and an evening event. In addition, the trade fair is the ideal opportunity for professional exchange and networking between manufacturers, customers and employees of the Competec Group.
The Connect is aimed at Alltron specialist retail partners and Brack.ch Business customers. Participants expect products, innovations and lectures on modern work, cloud solutions, data centers, networks, professional AV and security. “Preparations are currently in full swing,” writes Competec. The group of companies intends to announce exhibitors, sponsors and the supporting program in the summer. Logistics – according to Competec has always been a crowd puller in Willisau – will also be given space to present itself.
Speaking of Competec: the group of companies recently launched Onit, a new brand of IT accessories. The range available on Brack.ch includes docking stations, cables and adapters as well as wireless and USB wall chargers. You can find out more about the new brand here.
