Congresswoman Esmeralda Limachi asks Boluarte to evaluate the intervention of the Armed Forces. in Tacna

The parliamentarian of Juntos Por el Perú sent a letter to the Head of State to evaluate the intervention of the Armed Forces. on the border between Peru and Chile.

the congresswoman Esmeralda Limachifrom the bench of Together for Peruhas sent an official letter to the president of Peru, In Boluarte, where you request the Executive power evaluate the intervention of the Armed forces in support of the National Police of Peru (PNP)with the aim of ensuring control and maintenance of internal order in said border area.

In said document, the legislator from Tacna mentions that, despite having requested immediate action from the Executive, no effective response has been received to date. In addition, it indicates that it has learned, through a journalistic program, that the Chilean military makes it easier for foreign migrants to enter Peru illegally through prohibited routes while the National Police it can barely police the southern border. In this sense, it rules that this situation affects sovereignty and national security.

That is why the parliamentarian Limes refers to the competence framework of the Executive powerwhich states that the state has the primary duty to protect the population from threats to its security and exercise sovereignty over the integrity of its territory and dictate the immigration policy internally and externally, which is part of State policy.

Invokes unity for the protection of children and adolescents

Esmeralda Limachi, who chairs the Special Multiparty Commission for the Protection of Children of the Congress of the Republictoday called for consensus and unity for the defense and protection of the rights of children and adolescents.

“Work is required in an articulated way at the three levels of government, with the support of collectives and organizations”said the congresswoman.

In addition, the congresswoman announced the presentation of a legislative initiative to promote the creation of the Vice Ministry of Children and Adolescents in the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populationsas well as the draft legislative resolution that creates the Ordinary Commission for Boys, Girls and Adolescents in the Congress of the Republic.

He also stated that there will be follow-up on the implementation of the Orphan Law and to compliance with Childhood Cancer Care Law.
