‘Congress will be uprooted if Hanuman devotees flare up’, Karnataka CM Bommai furious over ban on ‘Bajrang Dal’ in manifesto

Bangalore. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Tuesday that if the devotees of Lord Hanuman incite against the Congress, the Congress will be wiped out from the country. Reacting to the release of the Congress manifesto, Bommai also said that it is unfair for the Congress to draw parallels between the Bajrang Dal and the Popular Front of India.

It is noteworthy that Congress has said in its manifesto that it will ban organizations like Bajrang Dal and Popular Front of India. A statement issued from Bommai’s office quoted him as saying, “Bajrangis belong to Bajrang Dal, devotees of Lord Hanuman and the Congress party has announced in its election manifesto that it will ban Bajrang Dal. If the devotees of Lord Hanuman flare up, the Congress will be wiped out from the country.

Told Bajrang Dal to Religious Service Organization and PFI..
Later, speaking to reporters, Bommai said that Congress would not come to power and the question of banning Bajrang Dal would not arise. However, such promises reflect their (Congress) policy, he said. Bajrang Dal is a social and religious service organization. PFI has worked against the country, has been involved in terrorist activities and there are many cases and evidence against it. That’s why it is not fair to compare PFI with Bajrang Dal. PFI has already been banned.
