Nagpur: Congress won big in elections for President and Vice President of Panchayat Samiti in Nagpur district. The BJP failed to win even a president. She only managed to win three vice president posts.

NCP won in Kathol, Narkhed and Hingana and Shiv Sena in Ramtek. The president who won in Ramtek is a Shiv Sena supporter led by Eknath Shinde.

Voting took place on Sunday to elect Sarpanch and the members of Gram Panchayats. The result will be announced today. Similarly, voting and counting will be held today for the positions of President and Vice President of Zilla Parishads.
