VAL D’ISERE. Austrian skier Mirjam Puchner achieved the best time in the second practice for Saturday’s World Cup in Val d’Isere, France.
The second Sofia Goggio from Italy was 15 hundredths of a second behind her, the third was the Swiss Corinne Suterová on Friday (+ 0.29 s).
Goggio was the fastest in the first practice. She is doing well in the downhill this season when she has twice succeeded in the Canadian resort of Lake Louise and triumphed in the super-G. In St. Moritzi was second in super-G again and sixth.

Slovak Petra Vlhová has decided to skip the event in Val d’Isere, the next one will be presented next week in two huge slaloms in Courchevel, France (December 21 and 22).
