Congress: Ethics Commission holds its tenth ordinary session tomorrow | News

The Parliamentary Ethics Commission will meet tomorrow, Monday, from 5:00 p.m., to see a series of ex officio complaints, final reports, and hearings regarding various accusations filed against congressmen from different benches.

According to the agenda, there is the ex officio complaint against Congressman Américo Gonza Castillo (Free Peru), about his alleged participation in meetings at the Government Palace with officials and others; and supposed family benefit.

Likewise, the ex officio complaint against the parliamentarian José Jerí Oré (Somos Perú) for allegedly violating the health protocol standards against covid-19.

In addition, the final report will be seen in file 012-2021-2022 / CEP-CR against Congressman Jorge Montoya Manrique (Popular Renovation).

Similarly, the hearing followed in file 018-2021-2022/CEP-CR will be held against Congresswoman Patricia Chirinos Venegas (Avanza País), for the alleged offense against the President of the Republic.

Also the hearing followed in file 019-2021-2022/CEP-CR against parliamentarian Luis Cordero Jon Tay, for the alleged grievance of his ex-partner.

The session will be held in blended form, with the possibility of attending the Francisco Bolognesi Room or through the Microsoft Teams virtual room, as indicated in the parliamentary agenda.

The Parliamentary Ethics Commission aims to ensure compliance with the rules, principles of parliamentary ethics, probity and transparency in the acts and actions of parliamentarians.
