NASA spacecraft, Artemis 1 Orion has arrived moon. The Orion capsule is already about 130 kilometers above the surface of the Moon and will now enter a wider orbit.

“This is one of those days that you’ve been thinking about and dreaming about for a long time,” said NASA Flight Director Zebulon Scoville.
“This morning, we just watched the Earth set behind the Moon as we drove a human vehicle around the Moon, preparing to bring humans back there in a few years. This is a game changer,” he added.
After flying that close, Orion will fly farther and circle the Moon. On Nov. 26, it will break the record for the distance traveled by Apollo 13 when it reaches 400,171 km (248,655 miles) from Earth.
The aircraft filmed the Apollo 11, 12 and 14 landing sites as they approached. The Artemis mission took off a few days ago from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Orion capsule sent several selfies during its journey.
As this was a test flight, there were no astronauts on board. Instead, there are three dummies with thousands of sensors. “The sensor has an idea of whether the environment is going to be good for humans,” explained NASA astronaut Zena Cardman.
If the flight goes well, the astronauts will join them on subsequent trips, first in orbit around the Moon. After that, mission Artemis the third issue will bring the first women and first people of color to the surface of the Moon.
