Regarding a car rental at Athens Airport, I thought that paying with a credit card (and not a debit card) such as Visa Premier made it possible to systematically benefit from a waiver of excess – CDW in case problem
However, when I read the clauses of the local renters it is not at all clear. And when I ask the procedure to follow to recover the deductible in the event of a problem, they do not mention CDW or the franchise buyout by Visa and they answer on the plate side (voluntarily?)
On the other hand, if I reserve a vehicle rental through Booking, I am offered insurance with optional full protection from Zurich Insurance (€46 for 7 days) which seems to me to be complete.
But doesn’t this insurance duplicate what the Visa Premier card offers?
