Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Western countries are reportedly preparing measures to remove Volodymyr Zelensky from the post of president of Ukraine. This happened when Zelensky was leading his country which was attacked by Russia.
In an interview for the Judging Freedom YouTube channel, retired United States Marine Corps (USA) intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the West is currently leaning towards the commander of the Ukrainian forces, Valery Zaluzhny. He, he said, was considered better suited to be president.
“The West has put Zelensky in the background, focusing on Zaluzhny as the future leader of Ukraine,” he said in an interview quoted by Lebanese Media. Al MayadennFriday (23/12/2022).
According to Ritter, there is a tendency in Western media to promote Zaluzhny. This indicated that Zelensky’s reign was coming to an end, as he no longer had any of his previous powers and could not influence the next outcome
“People like General Zaluzhny will determine the future of Kiev. When the conflict reaches its final stage, he will be sitting at the negotiating table on the Ukrainian side,” the retired intelligence officer said.
This relationship arises when the head of the movement We are together with RussiaVladimir Rogov, said that Zelensky used the Ukrainian secret service as the only back-up force to maintain his power and fight his political opponents.
Rogov said TAX that Zelensky made many political enemies during his efforts to establish a system of individual power in Ukraine. This created a large opposition force.
Former CIA officer Philip Giraldi also indicated that Zelensky was trying to embroil NATO in direct conflict with Russia. He explained that the President of Ukraine and his advisers are determined to escalate the situation.
