Confused and bloodied man is screaming on N266 in Nederweert

Saturday evening around half past eight, a confused and bloodied man was found on the N266 between Brug 15 and Brug 14 in Nederweert.

The man walked along the provincial road in shorts, bare-chested and bare feet. Several passers-by had already seen the man walking at Bridge 15 in Nederweert. With much shouting he walked down the street and took off his clothes. In the middle of the road were a pair of shoes, and a little further on were his socks. According to the police, the man had already been found in Weert earlier today.

The police stopped the man on the N266 in Nederweert, just before Bridge 14. According to the police, the man was clearly confused but not under the influence. Ambulance personnel examined the man and took him to hospital in Weert. Here he is handed over to the ‘crisis service‘, who will treat the man further.
