Conflicts – Rostock – War in the Ukraine: benefit concerts at a music college – politics

Rostock (dpa/mv) – With two benefit concerts on Saturday, the University of Music and Theater (HMT) Rostock wants to support the people in the Ukrainian war zones. Musicians from different nations want to set an example against war and violence, for peace and international understanding, as the HMT announced. The organizers and leaders are Olha Chipak and Oleksiy Kushnir, both of whom teach at the HMT and come from the Ukraine. The concerts at 5.00 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. in the Katharinensaal with different programs include solo works and chamber music in different instrumentations.
