Conflict between singers Ariel NOAH with Andika, ex-Peterpan, is currently being discussed. Ariel said that when he was met in the Taman Anggrek area, Jakarta, he said he wanted the problem with Andika to be resolved.
“Yes, it was explained yesterday, yes there was a slight misunderstanding,” said Ariel, yesterday.
“It’s already been explained and hopefully it’s clear, that’s about the situation,” he explained.
Previously Ariel has explained everything. He felt he had to straighten everything out.
“Ah, I think I have to explain this. I will explain what Andika said yesterday,” said Ariel, seen on the YouTube channel Ferdy ELEMENT, Friday (13/10/2023).
Ariel NOAH said that problems had started to occur when working on the first album. Initially, Ariel emphasized that from the start he had agreed not to reveal the reasons for Andika’s departure.
However, Ariel did not expect that after dozens of years Andika would actually talk about this again.
“We only have one focus, we explode on compilations, we will definitely be signed again, wow, I’m really happy. When we started working on the first album, we started collecting songs, there was no mindset at that time, Ariel, everyone who makes songs. When you play in a band, you want to make songs, Ariel NOAH’s story.
However, it turns out that not everyone has songs. Ariel remembers that at that time Lukman had songs. Of the 10 songs, nine belong to Ariel and one to Lukman. Royalties are also divided equally.
Ariel said Andika was having difficulties. This made Ariel and other Peterpan personnel uncomfortable speaking bluntly to Andika.
“If we answer Andika’s own question, the point is that the mistake is that most Indonesians like us, don’t feel comfortable when we say ‘You’re ugly’. That’s what happened to Andika,” explained Ariel.
“From the first album, it was a bit difficult for him. So, he filled in (arranging the song), he tried, (opinions) from the others, ‘Ah, I don’t think it’s good enough’, he filled it in again, ‘Ah, it’s not good’. “Eventually he became frustrated himself,” he said.
“And, you can just ask Indra about all that. But, never mind, I personally feel like I’ll learn later. I talked to the kids when I was about to enter the second album, how come there aren’t any songs from the others,” continued Ariel NOAH.
From there, Ariel asked his friends not to rely on him. There will be times when he won’t be able to compose songs.
“I’m quite depressed waiting for this song to come. I’m already on stage, this is the date the song was launched. I said to the kids that I don’t demand a song, you just go fishing for it. At that time, Uki had the song Langit Tak Hear, he played the guitar, I was hooked. Wow, this is delicious,” he said.
