In July and at the end of August, the capital of Inland water transport invites you on a journey around five continents with activities related to the chosen location. This event is offered as part of the Summer Scenes event, organized during the summer period.
America
On July 16 and 17, discover America. On the program: Quebec lacrosse, demonstration and initiation to Capoeira Gingado Baiano, Uvol theatre, handball match and workshop, American football workshop, dancing activities, beach volleyball initiation, inflatable structures, digital wall animation, biathlon adventure course and shooting with the blowpipe.
Saturday will conclude with the first outdoor cinema of the season, where the original version of the film will be shown The Magnificent Seven, at 10 p.m., at the Prieuré park. Fanfare No Water Please will introduce you to the Jazz Funk universe of New Orleans on Sunday.
Africa
On July 23 and 24, it will be Africa’s turn! On the agenda, drawing, colouring, Congolese music, culinary workshop, Conflan Art lessons, dancing, djembe, introduction to dance, quiz on Africa, mountain biking games, storytelling, introduction to rollerblading and beach volleyball, inflatable structures, Afro bracelet creation, Food’Africa, sustainable creative workshop and temporary tattoo stand.
The first day ended with the famous open-air cinema with the screening of the film Yao at 10 p.m. The next day will be hosted by a Beninese Fanfare Eyo’Nlé.
Participants will then make a stopover in Oceania. The schedule includes: ornithological walk Between sky, stones and river, Conflanais Art lessons, circuses, discovery of balls, Chinese plates, spinning tops, clubs, yoyos, dancing animations, storytelling, inflatable structures, digital wall animation, juggling, diabolo.
Will be broadcast on Saturday at 10 p.m. the film Oceanat the outdoor cinema.
Asia
The journey will end with the discovery of Asia, Saturday August 27th. On the menu will be contact sports, martial arts, fitness and well-being, collective shiatsu sessions, individual Do In sessions, creation of a floral composition, display of the fresco produced in the neighborhoods this summer, workshop yoga, billiards, storytelling, inflatable structures.
This magnificent journey will end with the screening of the film The Secret of the Flying Daggersoutdoors at 10 p.m.
Opening to Europe
The first, in Europe, highlighted youth on July 9 and 10. There was in particular the Volont’R stand run by young people, who recounted their experience in volunteering and the Mjc which hosted and financed the Désinfox exhibition.
Also planned were games on Europe, creative drawing, sculpture, painting and collage workshops, introduction to Volley Ball at the Pierre-Bérégovoy complex, inflatable structures, first aid activities, board games, a flamenco show , precision shots, accounts on the go and 100% female football workshops at the Léon Biancotto stadium on Sunday.
