Bogor –
Bank Indonesia Liquidation Assistance Task Force (BLBI Task Force) confiscated several assets belonging to the obligor PT Bank Asia Pacific (Aspac) in Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency, West Java. One of the owners of the confiscated land is Setiawan Harjono, a former chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives Setya Novanto (Setnov).
“This time, the BLBI Task Force confiscated assets and other assets related to the obligor PT Bank Asia Pacific on behalf of Setiawan Harjono and Hendrawan Harjono and other affiliated parties in the form of land and buildings standing on it in the name of PT Bogor Raya Development, PT Asia Pacific Permai and PT Bogor Real Estate Indo with a total area of 89.01 hectares,” said Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md in his remarks at the Bogor Raya Golf Club, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency, Wednesday (22/6/2022).
“Here’s a golf course and its facilities as well as two hotel buildings located in Sukaharja Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency, West Java,” he added.
The total assets seized are estimated at Rp 2 trillion with a total land area of 89 hectares. “Initial estimates at this time, we will calculate again, the value of the assets confiscated is approximately 2 trillion,” he said.
Mahfud asked PT Bogor Raya Development to immediately prepare with all available data because the BLBI Task Force will soon expand. This is because in the confiscation site there are many community activities, including economic activities.
“Because at this place of confiscation or at the object of the confiscation, namely PT Bogor Raya Development, there are many economic and socio-economic activities of the people, public facilities, hotels, golf and so on, please continue to operate. But now they are under state management, no longer under the assets of PT Bogor Raya Development. Please continue the debate, we will continue,” he said.
